Creating an Account
The Create an SLN Account process is for new students or students who do not have an active SLN password.

Required Information
You need to provide your course information (course name, number, section), the name of the college offering the course, and your email address before completing the Create an SLN Account process. If you don’t have your course information, you can find it by viewing the Course List.

What you’ll Receive
After submitting your information, you will receive a confirmation screen containing your username, password, and the next steps for accessing the Student Commons, where you will work in your courses.

Testing your System
Clicking on Create an SLN Account automatically tests your computer system to ensure that it meets the minimum technical requirements. If your computer system is sufficiently equipped, you will be prompted to continue with the account process by clicking the test your system link at the bottom of the page. This takes you to the password request form.

Technical Requirements
If your computer system does not meet the minimum technical requirements or requires that you change your browser settings, you will receive instructions about what needs to be updated or changed.
